Pisgah Paws Cat Cafe and Emporium

What a fantastic experience! Great shopping and coffee. There is a small donation charged to enter the cat room to help defray the cost of keeping these beautiful kitties with a clean, comfortable place to live while they wait for forever their homes; it's not often that I get to see my donations at work--but here I did! I highly recommend a visit. Just be careful, one of those cats might just steal your heart!

We have been visiting since their first weekend open and we absolutely love it. It is a wonderful place to visit, have a cup of coffee, browse the shelves, and , of course, play with kitties! They are all well cared for and thanks to the volunteers, it is kept clean and safe for the cats. Whether you want to play with lively kittens or cuddle a sweet senior cat, you will always leave with your heart full. Can’t adopt but still want to help out? They can always use donations of litter, food, and time.

My husband and I visited the cafe and emporium a few weeks ago! We had a great time playing with the kitties and just hanging out. The cafe was clean, tidy and bright. We bought a tasty drink, some coffee, t-shirts and cat toys. I love what Erica is doing and this cafe definitely is worth supporting. She has saved so many little lives... Also, just so people know, it is unique in that this is a not-for-profit cafe run by Erica and volunteers. The mission is to help shelter cats get adopted. There are many cat cafes and they are great (I love the concept!) but they are likely run for profit. That is a big difference!

Awesome place with an awesome cause. Got to spend hours hanging out petting and playing with a bunch of cats and kittens. Clean and nice environment. Very cute gifts as well and different drink and snack options at the cafe.

I love visiting Pisgah Paws Cat Cafe and Emporium. They have the BEST Jamaican me "cat" crazy coffee. The place is very clean and maintained. The cats are well taken care of and they all get along really with each other. We adopted our sweet Matilda from Pisgah Paws Cat Cafe a couple weeks ago - we LOVE her! Anyone looking for a great cat? Here's the place to go! PS: The coffee and snacks aren't actually in the cat room. My husband was skeptical about cats & coffee together until he visited with me, and now he loves to go drink coffee and shop while I pet the cats in the cat room.

What a great place! These fine folks rescue cats and kittens from high kill shelters and give them another chance to find a great home. The gift shop is awesome and the cat room was very comfortable—we had a leisurely cup of coffee while the kitties had a chance to come say hi, or not. We would definitely recommend a visit—you may leave with a friend.

I visit the Pisgah Paws Cat Cafe almost every weekend. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have a great variety of gifts and "cat stuff" for those of us who love our fur babies. The Cat Room is a great way to forget about life's stressors and just snuggle some sweet babies. The kitties are well cared and obviously loved. If you are looking for a furry friend, this is the place to go! They take babies who have had a rough start and give them a chance for a wonderful life. You can be a part of saving a life too. Adopt!

I visited last week and was impressed by the healthiness and friendliness of the cats in the cat room. They were lounging on a large cat tree and were happy to be petted. The room was clean, with no odors or mess. Anyone who has cats knows trace amounts of litter will get on the floor as animals exit the litter box, but that was all! The cages for smaller kittens were clean, and the kittens looked vigorous. This is a fine venue for people to meet the adoptable cats or just socialize with them. It is unique and commendable venue for animals and people. I do cat rescue myself, and I know the work that is involved to maintain a large group of cats. PAWS is doing good work.
